In every field of life it is essential to be able to act in the service of community for the common interests, setting aside our private interests – highlighted the President of National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) in her welcome speech at the handover of the renewed building of the Debrecen Administrative and Labour Court. Dr. Tünde Handó added that Debrecen has always been at the forefront in setting an example, the Debrecen Model – which reformed the assignment of cases – has produced great results. The President of NOJ, when listing the results of the Debrecen Administrative and Labour Court, said, that even though the number of incoming cases has doubled, the number of completed cases has increased by 76%, the backlog of cases has been reduced by 47% and the number of cases older than one year has been halved.
