Péter Tatár-Kis is the temporary head of the Budapest-Capital Regional Court

The president of the National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) assigned Dr. Péter Tatár-Kis to perform the tasks of the presidency of the Budapest-Regional Court. The assignment followed the fact that the application to fill the position has been repeatedly declared unsuccessful.

Dr. Péter Tatár-Kis has been working at the judiciary since 1996. He was appointed as a judge at the Balassagyarmat District Court in 2000, of which he became president between 2008 and 2012. From 2012, he worked at the Balassagyarmat Regional Court, and in 2015 he was assigned to the NOJ, where he acted as the head of the Administration Management Division. He returned to the Balassagyarmat Regional Court in 2016, of which he acted as temporary president since 2018.
