In the first quarter of 2019, the soundness of criminal judgments has further increased in the district courts, where 75.1% of all criminal cases were finished. 78.8% of the judgments have become final already at first instance.

Second instance courts’ opinion about the appealed criminal decisions has also improved. The rate of repealed decisions decreased from 3.8% in 2018 to below 3% in the first quarter of 2019. Compared to 2010, when the rate of the indicator was 7.6%, a 60% improvement can be measured.
