The number of pending litigation cases has dropped by more than 50%

District courts reduced the number of cases pending for more than two years from 10,110 in 2010 to 5,772, and the first-instance councils of regional courts managed to reduce 3,635 cases in 2010 to 1,771 by the end of 2018.
There has been a 11% decrease in the number of cases pending for more than one year at regional courts, second instance level. The reduction in the number of cases is even higher at regional courts of appeal: overall, the number of cases pending for more than 6 months decreased by 58% compared to 2010.
